Taking our 4 days tour, you will be being impressed by the huge Shwedagon gold covered pagoda along with other ancient famous pagoda and temples in Yangon. The next stay will be at Inle Lake, where you can explore the local, ethnic villages.

Yangon Arrival – Sightseeing

Day 01

Welcome to golden land – Myanmar

Upon arrival, Myanmar tour guide will meet you at airport after your easy visa procedure. Spend about 45 minutes on car, we will reach to Yangon city Center.
The city’s historical colonial and religious influences have survived despite its status as a rising Southeast Asian city, making for a truly unique experience.
Walk through downtown a diverse mix of faded colonial architectures from the British times, and high-rises built by more recent investors.
Then, we will visit Sule Pagoda – a religious and historic site, built in the early 3rd century which located in the heart of downtown Yangon.
Late afternoon, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda of Rudyard Kipling fame and one of Myanmar’s most sacred places. The massive bell shaped stupa is plated with gold and the tip of the stupa is set with diamonds and rubies, sapphires and topaz – a stunning sight as the sun sets and a most fitting place to begin our trip in this “Golden Land”.
Enjoy a very nice welcome dinner with Burmese cuisine at a local restaurant.

Yangon – Heho – Inle Lake

Day 02

Get up early in the morning and take a flight to Heho – Inle Lake.
After a transfer to Nyaungshwe town, we wil have a private wooden motorboat for a full day excursion on Inle Lake. Explore villages built on stilts and floating gardens, getting a chance to learn about the life and culture of the lake’s residents. Stop in at workshops making incredible hand-woven silks and fabrics created from the fibers of the lotus flower.
We will also visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where we can join local devotees as they come to pay homage to this sacred site. If time allows, there will also be a stop at Nge Phe Chaung, a wooden monastery with a remarkable collection of Buddha images.

Inle Lake – Indein – Yangon

Day 03

Take a visit to the market which is a Inle five day rotation market most fascinating to watch the daily life of the minorities and their activities. Continue our excursion by motorized boat to Indein pagoda complex, in the south-west of the lake. The boat leaves the lake and enters a narrow canal with a beautiful natural environment to continue to a small Pa O tribe village.
From the village, follow an old covered path to a 13th century monastery and the very impressive ruins of hundreds of ancient pagodas, some hidden in the vegetation. The main stupa-area on the top of the hill offers breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and down to the valley and the lake in the far distance.Late afternoon, take a flight back to Yangon.Free at night.

Yangon – City Tour – Departure

Day 04

Arrive in Yangon in early morning, we will have a breakfast in a local restaurant. After breakfast, we will visit Botataung Pagoda- believed to be a sacred hair of Gautama Buddha. The Botataung Pagoda is hollow inside and you can walk through it. It’s a sort of mirrored maze inside the pagoda with glass show-cases containing many of the ancient relics and artifacts which were sealed inside the earlier pagoda. Above this interesting interior. the golden pagoda spire rises to 40 metres (132 feet).
Then, followed by a visit to Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple – famous for its huge image of Reclining Buddha, built in 1966 replacing the old image built in 1907 by Sir Hpo Thar.
Do some shopping in Scott Market – the biggest market in Myanmar for your souvenirs before transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
